Anti-Spam & User Consent Policy

Last Updated: October 31, 2026 • PT BOONTRACK INOVASI DIGITAL

1. Zero-Tolerance Spam Policy

PT Boontrack Inovasi Digital enforces an uncompromising zero-tolerance policy against unsolicited electronic messaging, commercial spam, and deceptive marketing. As a Meta Tech Provider operating on Meta WhatsApp Business Cloud API infrastructure, BoonTrack requires all merchants and partners to adhere strictly to global recipient consent standards and messaging integrity regulations.

2. Mandatory Prior Explicit Consent (Opt-In)

Merchants using BoonTrack software are strictly prohibited from sending unsolicited WhatsApp notifications, automated promotional broadcasts, or transactional templates without verifiable, explicit, prior affirmative consent (Opt-In) from the recipient.

  • Valid Opt-In Methods: An affirmative digital action such as entering a phone number on a checkout form with an explicit opt-in checkbox, requesting order updates, or initiating an inbound chat with the business.
  • Prohibition of Third-Party Lists: The purchase, rental, scraping, or utilization of third-party contact databases is categorically prohibited and constitutes an immediate violation of our platform terms.
  • Clear Disclosure: The opt-in notice must clearly state the business name, types of messages to be received (e.g. order tracking, receipts, service alerts), and frequency expectations.

3. Unambiguous Opt-Out & Revocation Mechanism

End users must be provided with an immediate, cost-free, and straightforward method to revoke consent at any moment:

Opt-Out Protocol: Whenever an end recipient replies with standard opt-out keywords including STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, QUIT, or Indonesian equivalents such as BERHENTI, the system and merchant must immediately halt all non-essential and promotional communications to that phone number.

Merchants may not charge fees or impose procedural obstacles for opting out. Once revoked, consent cannot be assumed again unless affirmatively re-initiated by the customer.

4. Prohibited Messaging Activities

  • Sending deceptive, fraudulent, defamatory, or misleading promotional text.
  • Promoting counterfeit goods, unlicensed pharmaceuticals, illegal gambling, or multi-level marketing schemes.
  • Using unofficial automation tools, unauthorized scrapers, or browser-based bots to harvest user directories.
  • Circumventing Meta WhatsApp Cloud API messaging frequency ceilings or template review mechanisms.

5. Enforcement, Account Suspension & Ban

Enforcement Action: BoonTrack continuously audits outbound message quality, block rates, and recipient feedback. Any merchant found transmitting spam or violating recipient consent requirements is subject to immediate, unannounced account suspension or permanent termination without entitlement to subscription refunds.

Repeated or severe violations will be escalated directly to Meta Platforms for WABA account suspension and, where applicable, reported to statutory regulatory authorities under the Indonesian Information and Electronic Transactions Act (UU ITE No. 1/2024).
